What are the differences between Samsung LCD splicing screens and LG LCD splicing screens?
1. Panel technology differences
LG LCD splicing screen adopts iPS technology (commonly known as hard screen), and Samsung LCD splicing screen adopts VA technology (commonly known as soft screen), the essential difference between the two is only adding film or not adding film on the surface of the splicing screen. This difference will not lead to the change of the physical properties of the LCD splicing panel itself. Therefore, the inherent characteristics are still maintained between the two in terms of image quality. If you use the same signal source in the same field and watch the LCD splicing screens of Samsung and LG, the image quality is obviously poor In other words, the key problem is that the level of large screen splicing panel is different from the core configuration such as IC driver performance.
2. Difference between two side seam
Samsung LCD splicing screen has three common types of splicing: 5.3mm, 3.5mm and 1.7mm, while LG LCD splicing screen mainly has 3.5mm and 1.8mm.
3. Panel size difference
LG LCD splicing screen mainly includes 49 inches and 55 inches, while Samsung LCD splicing screen has 46 inches, 55 inches and 65 inches.
4. How to distinguish the soft screen and hard screen of LG LCD splicing screen and Samsung LCD splicing screen
Gently scratch the surface of the splicing screen by hand. If there is an obvious water mark, it is a soft screen; If the water mark is very light or even no, it belongs to hard screen.
So far, there has been no theory of "soft" and "hard" among the many standards on the quality of LCD splicing screen at home and abroad that can be referred to, nor has any authoritative organization commented on the advantages and disadvantages of hard screen and soft screen. Therefore, it can be said that hard screen and soft screen are only the difference in the post-processing of liquid crystal splicing panel, without fundamental advantages and disadvantages. To be more precise, that is, the hard screen just adds a protective film on the LCD panel. The LCD splicing screen with film screen is not necessarily excellent, while the LCD splicing screen without film screen is not necessarily poor.
